*****From the instant I met Tanya I felt a sense of comfortablity that is extremely important in a photographer. She is so easy to work with and makes you feel incredible about yourself during your session and with the end results in the fabulous photography. ***** In one word INCREDIBLE!! When we were looking for a photographer to take our maternity and newborn photos we were extremely cautious (had been burned by our wedding photographer)! After searching out close to 30 different photographers, we found Tanya and TDF Photography. After the first contact, we knew we had found the photographer we were looking for. Tanya was very friendly and personable from the very beginning! She was a natural and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera!! Our photos from the maternity session was done when our son was 4 months old. Tanya was so patient, gentle and creative in working with him and the photos we got from that day are amazing!! ***** Tanya had done a family photo shoot with my friends over a year ago. At that time we had a 3 year old and a 15 month old who was miserable all day and we were convinced we wouldnt get one good shot. When we got the final photos, there were BEAUTIFUL pictures of both boys. She completely captured their personalities in each photo.
Fast forward to a year later and we welcomed a set of twins into the family. When they were two months old, we asked her if she was up to the challenge of photographing a family with 4 under 4. TANYA WAS BRILLIANT!!! The two older boys thought she was hilarious and just let them be kids. She didnt insist that they pose and be quiet. She encouraged them to play and captured some fabulous moments.
The pictures of the twins are so sweet. She was very patient and gentle in trying to get the photos perfect.
I have had numerous compliments on our photos and people asking for Tanyas contact information because they were so impressed with our pics.
There is no doubt that we will use TDF photography again in the future!!!

***** After much thought and after seeing some of Tanyas work, we decided to get a maternity photo shoot done. Tanya was so gentle and patient when she came over to take the new born pictures of Brendan. He fought her all the way (on both days!!) and we still ended up with incredible pictures. Tanya far exceeded our expectations and am so thankful we got these pictures done. Every single picture taken turned out amazing, and now we will have these pictures and memories forever. ***** We happened upon Tanya by chance when we were looking for a photographer to do a Trash the Dress session, and are we ever glad we did! Tanya was laid back and fun and the pictures were beautiful. We loved them so much, we asked her to document our first anniversary with a photo shoot. She has been extremely flexible (meeting us at sunrise & risking her equipment in the spray of waterfalls), and very VERY patient with our sometimes not-so-well-behaved dog, whom we brought to and included in both sessions. We cant say enough about the extras she provides like adequate time for sessions, free photo edits and most of all her creativity! ***** When I was pregnant I fooled around with the idea of getting the bump shots done, but I decided that the pictures my husband, with our camera, took would be fine. No need to go all out. Well looking at what Tanya captures in terms of the baby bump I regret not having them done professionally and done by Tanya (psst, next time.) But as Tanya and I have discussed in the past, had I chosen to do them we may never have met as we didnt have our first shoot until my daughter was 3 months old, and Tanya was just starting her photography business so we could have been like two ships in the night.
When I literally stumbled upon Tanya, I had no idea what to expect but I figured anybody has to be better than me and my $100 camera that just wasnt capturing the beauty of my baby girl. My husband and I had such a blast that first photo shoot, we just did as we were told and went with the flow. The editing was beautiful and we were so impressed with the pictures. We booked a second photo shoot for the fall and again the atmosphere, chemistry, and pictures turned out fantastic. When our little girl was approaching the big 1 year old, I knew where her pictures were coming from. Every time we see the proofs we are so thrilled and impressed with how well she captures our love and playfulness. The way she cares about her work is something to be admired.

***** I first met Tanya when I was looking for daycare for my son and clicked with her right away! When she told me she was also a photographer, I said Mmm-hmmmthere are A LOT of photographers out there now with a DSLR and no skill. Then I looked at her webpage and knew instantly that she was a real artist. We decided to have family pictures and a photoshoot of my son when he was approaching a year, and she did not disappoint! I havent yet seen all of the images, but the sneak peeks I have seen are fantastic. Tanya has an excellent eye for framing a shot, and a professional hand at editing each photo I have seen is a work of art, its going to be impossible to choose.
Most importantly, however, is her professionalism during the photoshoot. She is at ease with everyone, quick and efficient at setting up shots, and kept a not-quite-1 year old easily happy and entertained and smiling even though it was getting past his supper time! She even got smiles out of a curmudgeonly stressed-from-work Dad!
If you are looking for childrens or family photography, you absolutely cannot go wrong with TDF, I am recommending her to all my friends!

***** A friend got me a photo shoot by Tanya for a birthday present. Ive never seen myself look so good if I do say so myself! All because of Tanya too. She was professional but made you feel comfortable as well as making it fun. Not only that but the pictures turned out better than I imagined, I loved every picture she took! Since then I have done another photo shoot and have recommended her to anyone that comes my way. No more Wal Mart or Sears for me! ***** When we decided to get maternity and baby shots done, the only logical choice was Tanya. We saw what she did with friends of ours and were super impressed. During our maternity session Tanya made myself and my husband extremely comfortable. She came right to our house and brought everything she needed for the photoshoot. My husband was really impressed because she made us feel like friends of hers instead of clients. Our maternity shots turned out amazingly.
Once we had our daughter, she came back to the house to do the photography session there. She was extremely patient and gentle with herand very understanding when our little girl had a few non diaper accidents. We are extremely please with everything Tanya has done. We will never use another photographer for our family shotswe will continue to use Tanya as our photographer in the future.
